Workshops

picture Workshops can be used on a one-off basis in business or on projects to help resolve a particular issue but most often they are seen as part of a strategy for improvement. Each workshop will be different in many respects depending on its intended function but will be arranged in a sequence which will ensure a structured incorporation into the business or project. These workshops therefore become a part of the whole management process and are planned and evaluated in the same way as your other business functions.

Each workshop is focused on separate but related issues which, as a whole, target improvement together with the necessary understanding of how to measure the improvement and review its value to the business or the project. After all, improving productivity at great cost may not be effective in a minor and never to be repeated area of the business.

With each workshop there may be varying degrees of teaching, facilitation and coaching depending on the issue and so it is very important that the facilitator not only has good facilitation and coaching skills but has access to best practice training materials.

The control and monitoring of the process and the resulting benefits are structured through steering committees and action groups within the organisation or the project. The emphasis is not to create extra work but to encourage excellence through efficient and effective management.

All of our workshops are structured to keep energy levels high and output meaningful. All workshops will be concluded with a report to record the outputs and provide a record of events.
