Description:
This one-day course is the second of three on an important project skill which can
make project management and completion more predictable.
This course is a companion course of Asta PowerProject and is intended to provide
a working knowledge of the resourcing and cost management features of the package.
Critical path analysis has its roots in model analysis and the resource and cost
functionality of this powerful package provides the ability to make more and more
exact models of the project to be implemented. This functionality is virtually unlimited
to all practical purposes, making it possible for the user to control the degree
of complexity which the project requires.
Asta PowerProject has a graphical user interface and this is used to great affect
by the histograms, āSā curves and other graphic information which can be included.
PowerProject remains surprisingly straightforward considering the manner in which
it manages complexity in making the model more realistic. Updating PowerProject
is straightforward and immediately shows the effect of progress.
This course on resourcing and costing in PowerProject is enjoyable and will lead
to significant benefits to the project management of your projects.
An Attendance Certificate will be provided at the end of this skill course.
