This one-day project start up workshop covers an important topic which will lead to project teams reaching a higher level of performance quicker.

There are many things which need to get done at the beginning of a change process, not to mention introducing everyone. In order for projects to run smoothly they need an environment of control and direction. This environment which has to be created is a microcosm of the business itself, with differences which represent the need for more responsiveness – project management processes. This is a complex task in itself but it must also be rolled out to all those who will be working within the project. These people may come from different departments or even different companies and may find the new system bewildering at first.

This project start up workshop introduces the essientials of the new project environment to everyone and provides an understanding of where they will all fit in, in terms of structure, information flow, responsibility, accessibility and other issues. Even if the project is already under way, this workshop also offers an introduction to the project itself and the current status and common conditions which affect all and require compliance and action, such as hours of working, health and safety and many other issues, depending on the circumstances at the time of the workshop.

This workshop is an opportunity for all present to investigate the project conditions as they affect them and to understand how they will interface with others. It will lay down the conditions of reporting on progress and the timing of the various meetings which will be required. The issues of information flow and resource build up will also be covered.

We will provide an environment where people can meet and essential information can be transferred quickly and efficiently. This is the opportunity for the business to take control of this very complex situation and to showcase their ability to manage effectively and efficiently.
