Association for Project Management

picture The Association for Project Management is the largest independent body of its kind in Europe with over 17,000 individual and 500 corporate members throughout the UK and abroad. The APM’s mission is: “To develop and promote the professional disciplines of project and programme management for public benefit”.

At the heart of the APM is its Body of Knowledge – 52 knowledge areas required to manage any successful project. The APM promotes the use of the APM Body of Knowledge through qualifications, accredited training, research, publications and events.

We run several courses accredited by the APM:

  • Certificate in Project Management
  • APMP Certification
  • Risk Management Level 1 – Knowledge
  • Risk Management Level 2 – Practice

We can arrange with the APM to provide examinations in the Asia Pacific region to suit you, to be held in accredited examinations centres in most parts of the world. Please call for details.

Project Management Institute

picture Project Management Institute is by far the largest organisation of its kind in the world dedicated to project management in business. It has over 250,000 members in over 170 countries. PMI is recognised for the advocacy programs they conduct with governments, organisations and industries around the world as they recognise and embrace project management to achieve business results.

PMP examinations can be arranged directly with PMI in examinations centers around the world. Please visit PMI’s web site for details.

International Project Management Association (IPMA)

IPMA provides the international recognition of the APM qualifications through the 45 national project management associations which it represents. IPMA actively promotes project management to businesses and organisations around the world. It certifies project managers, awards successful project teams and researchers and provides a number of project management publications.
