PMP Certification

Description:

This five-day course is accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

PMI is the world’s largest project management body and has huge influence within the project management business. This PMP Certification course is based upon PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK) Fourth Edition.

This five-day certification course takes participants through the phases of a project, using the PMI’s process groups and integration framework. This highly interactive course will provide individuals with coaching and practice questions in order to prepare them for the specific requirements of the Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification. Part of this qualification is based on a multiple choice examination and this is the main focus of this course. The PMP qualification goes on to require practical and verifiable project management experience making this a particularly valuable qualification for those working as project managers or within the project management senior teams.

With the ever increasing demands of business and industry, the management of change has been a focal point for many years and is now more progressively meeting the challenges of dependable project management. Not all projects are huge, on the contrary the vast majority are small over a short period and these are especially hard to manage with little time to put things right if they are allowed to go wrong. This is challenging and demands skill and capability in large quantities.

The PMP designation following your name tells current and potential employers and clients that you have demonstrated a solid foundation of knowledge from which you can competently practise project management.

The course is designed for participants who have at least a basic knowledge of project management and who are working in a project environment. It has been developed to address the needs of both junior and experienced project managers as well as managers who need to input on projects.
