Needs and Benefits Analysis

Needs and benefits analysisNeeds and Benefits Analysis

In simple cases it is often clear what training is required and what the benefits are expected to be. Occasionally, the situation is not so clear and training may be considered to be an option. In these cases where the needs and benefits are uncertain it is wise to complete a needs and benefits analysis to gain some understanding of the value of the chosen option.

The needs analysis will look at the most effective selection of training material and may take a day or so depending on the scope of the training required. A full report will be provided and recommendations made.

The benefits analysis will continue throughout the training period and be finally evaluated at the end of the programme. A full report will be provided indicating the benefits derived. The on-going evaluations process will also show if current programmes need to be modified to correct particular aspects of practice.

More details of both these processes will be provided if the service is requested.
