General Training
This section of our training is focused on general management skills which can be
used by both businesses and projects without much modification.
There are many skills which are best understood when described from a particular
point of view. Risk management for example is common to projects and business but
the manner in which it is best utilized varies in each case. For this reason we
have risk management for projects and risk management for business as two separate
courses. The use of some skills therefore is dependent on the environment.
There are however many skills which are similarly used in both environments and
can be studied in mixed groups. These are the subject of this section. These skills
are no less important than the project or business skills because they are fully
effective in both. Effective decision making is one such skill, the problem may
vary but the process remains much the same.
These skills are many and we have only provided a few examples in the attached pages.
All our courses are developed based on demand and so please let us know if you have
a suggestion for a new course. We don’t charge for developing courses if we feel
they have public appeal and can be re-used. So you may find it less expensive than
you have thought to develop a training course to suit your circumstances.
The courses we offer are mainly one-day courses which busy people find easier to
plan into their working week. But sometimes it is not possible to complete a topic
within a day.
All the courses are upgraded regularly and evaluated on a continuous basis to maintain
quality. Attendees are invited to become involved in the evaluation throughout.
Attendance Certificates are always provided which can usually be used for CPD. Examinations
will be provided for our accredited courses if required. Our examinations are held
in accredited examination facilities in Hong Kong or other countries if requested.
