This section of our training is focused on business management and business skills
of developing businesses.
Business is constantly changing today as it strives to deal with increasing globalisation
and the ebb and flow of public opinion. This is challenging and the business manager
needs to understand and consider many issues in the critical decisions he has to
make. Not much is constant or certain except the competition and the client’s complaints.
Expectations seem unreasonably high from clients who also want to pay less. It is
inevitable that this situation will drive innovation and change. This inevitability
creates the need for skills not previously considered essential.
Functional line management structures create specialisations and expertise; and
that may be a good thing. However, the more a business changes to suit the market
place the more important are the generalised skills which enable people in the core
management team to confidently consider the whole without neglecting the interests
of the majority. Expanding skill sets allow a broader view of the business and more
opportunity to embrace change and face the future.
This section of our training is focused on providing those business skills and competencies
which will result in increased commercial value as well as broader capability to
manage change and uncertainty. Clients are expecting more today and we are always
a step behind expectations. Expanding skill sets provides an environment which clients
see as evidencing change toward their expectations.
The courses we offer are mainly one-day courses which busy people find easier to
plan into their working week. But sometimes it is not possible to complete a topic
within a day.
All the courses are upgraded regularly and evaluated on a continuous basis to maintain
quality. Attendees are invited to become involved in the evaluation throughout.
Attendance Certificates are always provided which can usually be used for CPD. Examinations
will be provided for our accredited courses if required. Our examinations are held
in accredited examination facilities in Hong Kong or other countries if requested.
