York Consulting provides services in training, workshops and coaching, which are
focused on project management and general management of developing businesses.
We provide what we believe is an important service to professionals and like minded
people challenged with difficult management roles and the responsibility to succeed.
The knowledge which mission critical managers are expected to command today is breathtaking
in both width and depth. This knowledge is not unavailable nor is it unusable, but
it is often inaccessible for many reasons: managers too busy, business attention
diverted to more important issues, the industry not sufficiently responsive to recognise
that change has occurred requiring new tools, and much more.
The facts are that these busy professionals need a constant stream of competency
creating skills in order to keep up and provide the services which are expected
from them. There is no doubt that whilst knowledge and capability may lag demand,
but are driven by it, there is no such lag between demand and expectation. This
creates pressure on professionals and obstacles which stand in the way of success.
All our courses are updated regularly and evaluated on a continuous basis to maintain
quality. Attendees are urged to become involved in the evaluation throughout.
Attendance Certificates are always provided which can usually be used for CPD. Examinations
will be provided for our accredited courses if required. Our examinations are held
in accredited examination facilities in Hong Kong or other countries if requested.
